You can buy Condominiums on your own name in Thailand, what you can not do with Land and Houses here. With Land and Houses there are other possibilities, like leasing or loan written in the title deeds. But a local Lawyer can tell you more and explain it better for you. For many years I am working with a Thai Lawyer in Pattaya, who also is taking care of all the paper work for selling condos and changing names at the Landoffice.
